Why are you here?

Call to Worship – Return to the Lord

We come not for a show. Not for noise. Not for programs or performances.
We come for You, O Lord.
You alone are our portion. You alone are our prize.
“Whom have I in heaven but You? And with You, I desire nothing on earth.” (Psalm 73:25, NASB).
If You do not lead, we will not move. If You do not speak, we will not pretend.
“If Your presence does not go with us, do not lead us up from here.” (Exodus 33:15, NASB).
Apart from You, we are lost—wandering, thirsty, broken in the dark.
“Apart from Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5, NASB).

But You, O Lord, have done great things for us!
You took our sin and nailed it to the cross.
“He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21, NASB).
You crushed the power of death and rose in glory.
“But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep.” (1 Corinthians 15:20, NASB).
You broke every chain, tore every veil, and silenced the accuser.
“Having disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him.” (Colossians 2:15, NASB).
You poured Yourself out—completely, utterly—for us.
“He emptied Himself by taking the form of a bond-servant… He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, death on a cross.” (Philippians 2:7–8, NASB).

So let us come today and pour ourselves out before You.
Let us break our jars at Your feet, like the woman with the alabaster vial.
“She broke the vial and poured it over His head.” (Mark 14:3, NASB).
Let the fragrance of surrender fill the room.
“She has anointed My body beforehand for the burial. Truly I say to you, wherever the gospel is preached… what this woman has done will also be told.” (Mark 14:8–9, NASB).
Not holding back. Not measuring. Not waiting.
You are here, Lord—and You are worthy of it all.
“For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.” (Matthew 18:20, NASB).

We do not seek a structure. We seek the Shepherd.
“I am the good shepherd, and I know My own, and My own know Me.” (John 10:14, NASB).
We do not follow religion. We follow the Lamb.
“These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes.” (Revelation 14:4, NASB).
We do not chase performance. We pursue presence.
And Your presence is here.
“Yet You are holy, You who are enthroned upon the praises of Israel.” (Psalm 22:3, NASB).
We bow low. We lift high. We yield everything to You.
“Therefore I urge you… to present your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God.” (Romans 12:1, NASB).

Yeshua is risen. The King has triumphed.
The serpent is crushed. The grave is empty.
“The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.” (Romans 16:20, NASB).
“He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said.” (Matthew 28:6, NASB).
The throne is occupied. The gates of hell are falling.
“Upon this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.” (Matthew 16:18, NASB).
All authority belongs to You—forever.
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.” (Matthew 28:18, NASB).

So we worship not to be seen, but to see You.
“We would see Jesus.” (John 12:21, KJV).
Not to impress, but to adore.
“Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness; Tremble before Him, all the earth.” (Psalm 96:9, NASB).
Not to receive, but to respond.
“We love, because He first loved us.” (1 John 4:19, NASB).

In the name of Yeshua, the risen Lord, we declare: Victory belongs to the Lord—and He is here!
“Salvation, glory, and power belong to our God.” (Revelation 19:1, NASB).

Call to Prayer and Worship

Beloved, hear this call: the Lord knows the plans He has for you, plans to prosper you, not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). His thoughts toward you are vast and precious, more than you can count (Psalm 139:17). He is not far from you—He waits with open arms for you to turn to Him.

Come to God in Prayer

Do not delay, for now is the time to come to Him. The Lord has heard the cry of the broken-hearted and the afflicted. He heard the groaning of Israel in Egypt and delivered them by His mighty hand (Exodus 2:24). Even now, He hears your cries, your whispered prayers in the night, and the burdens you bear in silence. God promises to hear you when you call, and He will answer (Psalm 34:17). He will rescue you, for He is near to all who seek Him (Psalm 145:19).

Come to Him with your whole heart. Draw near in faith, knowing that He is ready to meet you with grace and mercy. The Lord has said, “Call to Me, and I will answer you” (Jeremiah 29:12). Behold the testimony of the prophets and saints: when Jonah cried from the depths of the sea, God heard him (Jonah 2:2). When Israel called out in distress, God delivered them time and again. His ear has never grown deaf, nor His arm short to save (Isaiah 59:1).

Let nothing hinder you, for God has promised, “Before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear” (Isaiah 65:24). This is the God who formed the heavens and the earth, who knows your every thought. He sees you, and He desires to gather you under His wings to give you rest and peace.

You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. Come, lift your voice to the One who hears, and He will draw near to you. Come to Him in prayer, in faith, and in humility. God is faithful and just, ready to forgive, ready to heal, and ready to restore. Even now, He calls you. Will you answer?

Let Prayer Lead to Worship

As you come to God in prayer, let your heart overflow into worship. The same God who hears your cries invites you to celebrate His goodness. The psalmist calls out, “Come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker” (Psalm 95:6). In the quiet place of prayer, where you encounter His presence, let your soul respond in joyful worship.

Prayer leads you into God’s courts, and worship draws you even closer. “Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise” (Psalm 100:4). Let your prayers rise like incense before Him, and your praise like the sound of many waters. Sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done marvelous things (Psalm 98:1). Lift your hands, lift your voice, for He is worthy of all you can offer.

Worship with Dance and Joy

Let your worship be more than words. The Lord delights in the dance of His people, for in this place of praise and surrender, you will experience the fullness of joy. “Let them praise His name with dancing; let them sing praises to Him with tambourine and lyre” (Psalm 149:3). As David danced before the Lord with all his might, so too are you invited to worship with every fiber of your being (2 Samuel 6:14).

Prayer and worship are inseparable—two movements of the heart toward God. In prayer, you come to Him with your needs, and in worship, you acknowledge His greatness. Both are acts of surrender, both are responses to His goodness. As you cry out in prayer, let worship spring forth, for you stand before the King of kings, who hears you and calls you His own.

Join the Call to Prayer and Worship

So come, beloved. Pray, worship, and dance before the Lord. “You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands” (Isaiah 55:12). Even creation joins in the song of praise. Will you not join in as well?

Seek Him while He may be found, for He is near to all who call upon Him in truth (Psalm 145:18). Lift your voice, lift your heart, and come before Him in prayer and worship. He is waiting. Will you answer?

The Incredible Forgiveness of the Father

Dearly Beloved,

Who among us can fully recognize our errors? As the Psalmist cried, “Who can understand his errors or omissions? Acquit me of hidden (unconscious, unintended) faults” (Psalm 19:12, AMP). Every day, we stumble in weakness and sin, often blind to the depths of our shortcomings. Yet, in the goodness of God, we can echo David’s prayer: “Wash me thoroughly from my wickedness and guilt and cleanse me from my sin” (Psalm 51:2, AMP).

Deep within us, our souls thirst for the living God. Like parched land longs for rain, we cry out, “My soul thirsts for God, for the living God; when will I come and see the face of God?” (Psalm 42:2, AMP). Our hearts, like Job, yearn for His presence: “Oh, that I knew where I might find Him, that I might [even] come to His seat!” (Job 23:3, AMP). We stretch out our hands to Him, for only His forgiveness can satisfy the ache of our souls (Psalm 143:6).

In His infinite mercy, the Father does not turn us away. He offers cleansing, renewal, and restoration through the sacrificial work of Jesus Christ. “Purify me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow” (Psalm 51:7, AMP). Christ’s death and resurrection secure for us a forgiveness beyond comprehension, where He creates clean hearts and renews steadfast spirits within us (Psalm 51:10).

Jesus, our Redeemer, assures us: “He who has bathed needs only to wash his feet; otherwise, he is completely clean” (John 13:10, AMP). Through the blood of Christ, we are made new, and the weight of sin is lifted. For His glory and the honor of His name, He atones for our sins and delivers us (Psalm 79:9).

Yet in this world, there is a famine—not of bread or water—but of hearing the Word of the Lord (Amos 8:11). How desperately we need to return to Him, to drink deeply from the well of His love and forgiveness. Scripture promises, “They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house; and You allow them to drink from the river of Your delights” (Psalm 36:8, AMP).

God calls us: “Come, eat of my food and drink of the [spiritual] wine I have mixed” (Proverbs 9:5, AMP). To all who are weary and broken, He declares: “I will satisfy the weary soul, and I will replenish every languishing and sorrowful soul” (Jeremiah 31:25, AMP). For those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, He promises fulfillment (Matthew 5:6).

Jesus Himself invites us:

  • “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink” (John 7:37, AMP).
  • “Whoever drinks the water that I give him will never be thirsty again” (John 4:14, AMP).
  • “I am the Bread of Life; the one who comes to Me will never be hungry, and the one who believes in Me will never be thirsty” (John 6:35, AMP).

To the weary and longing, God promises eternal satisfaction: “I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost” (Revelation 21:6, AMP). This promise culminates with an open invitation: “The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come.’ And let the one who hears say, ‘Come.’ And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take and drink the water of life without cost” (Revelation 22:17, AMP).

A Prayer to Embrace the Father’s Forgiveness

Heavenly Father, we stand in awe of Your incredible forgiveness. You alone satisfy our thirsty souls and wash us clean through the blood of Christ. Renew our hearts, restore our spirits, and teach us to walk in Your mercy and light. May we never take for granted the grace You freely offer. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.

Beloved, the incredible forgiveness of the Father is a gift we can never repay, but we can live each day in gratitude. Let us seek His mercy and drink deeply from the river of His grace. In His presence, our souls find peace, joy, and eternal satisfaction.
