Beloved, call on Him, seek Him, and He will answer you. Our God is wonderful beyond measure, performing marvels and wonders that proclaim His glory and power. Remember how Jesus healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, and raised the dead, showing His dominion over all creation (Matthew 11:5). Recall how He calmed the storm and walked on water, displaying His might and authority (Mark 4:39, Matthew 14:25). The wonders of the Lord are beyond compare, as He rose from the dead, conquering sin and death, and bringing salvation to all who believe (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Who is like our God, majestic in holiness, awesome in praises, working wonders (Revelation 15:3)? He made a covenant through His blood, performing miracles and offering eternal life to all nations (Matthew 26:28).

When we seek the Lord, we find Him ready to reveal His goodness and truth. Jesus promised, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you” (Matthew 7:7). In every moment of need, in every season of life, God remains near to those who earnestly seek His presence. Remember how the early church sought the Lord in prayer and witnessed His mighty acts, as the Holy Spirit empowered them to preach the gospel and perform miracles (Acts 2:42-43). As we seek Him, let us draw near with confidence, knowing that He rewards those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6).

Call upon the Lord, for He is gracious and merciful, abounding in steadfast love. He invites us to approach His throne of grace with boldness, assured that He hears and responds to our petitions (Hebrews 4:16). In times of trouble, He is our refuge and strength, a very present help (Psalm 46:1). Jesus said, “Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son” (John 14:13). Our God is a God who answers, demonstrating His power and love through His mighty works. Let us not hesitate to call upon Him, for His ear is inclined to hear, and His hand is stretched out to save.

The Power of Calling on Him

Calling on the Lord is an act of faith and trust. Throughout the Bible, we see countless examples of God’s people calling on Him and receiving miraculous answers. Consider the story of Moses and the Israelites. When they were trapped between the Red Sea and the Egyptian army, Moses cried out to God. In response, God parted the Red Sea, allowing the Israelites to escape on dry ground (Exodus 14:13-22).

In the New Testament, we see the same power at work. When Peter was imprisoned, the church fervently prayed for him. God responded by sending an angel to free Peter from his chains (Acts 12:5-11). These stories remind us that God hears our cries and responds in powerful ways.

When we call on Him, we acknowledge our dependence on Him and invite His power into our circumstances. God delights in answering the prayers of His children, demonstrating His love and faithfulness. As we call on Him, let us remember the words of Jesus: “If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer” (Matthew 21:22).

The Joy of Seeking Him

Seeking the Lord is a lifelong journey. It involves a deep desire to know Him more intimately and to align our lives with His will. The Bible is filled with promises for those who seek God. “You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13). This promise assures us that our efforts to seek God will not be in vain.

The Psalms beautifully capture the heart of seeking God. David, a man after God’s own heart, often expressed his longing for God’s presence. “As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God” (Psalm 42:1). This imagery conveys the deep thirst and yearning for God that should characterize our lives.

In the New Testament, Jesus encourages us to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well (Matthew 6:33). Seeking God involves prioritizing our relationship with Him above all else. It means spending time in prayer, studying His Word, and worshiping Him with our whole heart.

As we seek Him, we will experience His presence in profound ways. We will grow in our understanding of His character and His plans for our lives. Let us be like the early believers who devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer (Acts 2:42). In seeking God, we find the joy and fulfillment that only He can provide.

A Call to Action and Prayer

Beloved, let us take action today. Call on Him, seek Him, and watch as He responds to your prayers and reveals His wonders in your life. Approach His throne of grace with boldness, knowing that He is ready to hear and answer. As the Apostle Paul encourages us, “Pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17).

Make prayer a daily habit, a continual conversation with your Heavenly Father. Set aside dedicated time to seek Him through His Word and in worship. Trust in His promises, for He is faithful to fulfill them. Remember the words of Jesus: “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you” (John 15:7).

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of praise and gratitude. We acknowledge Your greatness and Your wonders, displayed throughout history and in our lives. We seek Your face, yearning for a deeper relationship with You. Reveal to us Your will and guide us in Your truth. As we call upon You, Lord, we trust in Your promise to answer and show us great and unsearchable things. Strengthen our faith, that we may walk in confidence, knowing that You are always near. We pray this in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.

Conclusion

As we call on Him and seek Him, we tap into the boundless power and love of our Heavenly Father. Let us be encouraged by the countless examples in Scripture of God’s faithfulness and responsiveness. Confidence in God

Beloved, let us hold unwavering confidence in God, who has been our help and shield throughout the ages. From the patriarchs to the apostles, we see God’s faithfulness, giving us every reason to trust Him fully.

In the promises to the patriarchs, God assured His presence and provision. To Abraham, He vowed, “The Lord, the God of heaven, will send His angel before you” (Genesis 24:7). Isaac found comfort in God’s guidance, declaring, “Behold, I am dying, but God will be with you” (Genesis 48:21). Joseph, too, expressed this assurance: “God will surely visit you” (Genesis 50:24).

In the midst of battles and trials, God’s faithful warriors proclaimed His strength. Joshua, standing firm in faith, claimed, “If the Lord delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us” (Numbers 14:8). David, confronting Goliath, declared, “The Lord, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine” (1 Samuel 17:37). The psalmists echoed this confidence: “Though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear” (Psalm 27:3).

In times of leadership and decision-making, God’s guidance was sought and trusted. Nehemiah, facing opposition, boldly proclaimed, “The God of heaven Himself will prosper us” (Nehemiah 2:20). The chroniclers of Judah declared, “God Himself is with us as our head” (2 Chronicles 13:12). And Jehoshaphat, seeking divine intervention, prayed, “O Lord, there is no one besides You to help” (2 Chronicles 14:11).

Paul, in his letter to the Romans, affirms, “If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31). He reassures the Philippians, “He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus” (Philippians 1:6). To the Corinthians, Paul declares, “We have such trust through Christ toward God” (2 Corinthians 3:4) and further encourages, “Knowing that He who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus” (2 Corinthians 4:14). The writer of Hebrews strengthens us with the words, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?” (Hebrews 13:6). In the Acts of the Apostles, we see Paul urging confidence amidst trials, saying, “Not a hair from the head of any of you will perish” (Acts 27:34). Peter reflects on the hope and faith of holy women of old, who placed their trust in God and adorned themselves with inner beauty through their confident hope in His promises (1 Peter 3:5). Let us hold fast to this blessed assurance, for in every trial and triumph, our God is faithful and His grace abounds.

Beloved, let us take heart and place our confidence in the Lord. His promises are sure, His power is unmatched, and His love is everlasting. In every circumstance, whether in abundance or need, in peace or in conflict, let our trust be firmly rooted in Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Amen.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your unwavering faithfulness and abundant provision. We acknowledge that You are the source of our confidence, our strength, and our hope. As Your word reminds us, “If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31). We trust in Your promise that You who began a good work in us will bring it to completion (Philippians 1:6).

Lord, we place our trust in You, knowing that You raised Jesus from the dead and will raise us also with Him (2 Corinthians 4:14). In every trial, we declare, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?” (Hebrews 13:6). We hold fast to Your assurance that not a hair from our heads will perish, as You watch over us with tender care (Acts 27:34).

We look to the example of the holy women of old who adorned themselves with inner beauty through their confident hope in You (1 Peter 3:5). Let their faith inspire us to trust in Your promises, to rely on Your strength, and to rest in Your unending love.

Father, in every circumstance, whether in abundance or in need, in peace or in conflict, we trust in Your boundless love and immeasurable grace. Fill our hearts with the assurance of Your presence, and help us to live in the confidence that comes from knowing You. May Your grace abound in us, empowering us to walk in faith and to share Your love with the world.

We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Behold, the Day is Coming: Prepare for the Glory of God

Behold, the day is coming when God’s glory will shine in its fullness, and every eye will witness the splendor of His grace. The Lord is near, drawing close to His people, preparing hearts for a divine renewal and transformation.

God’s Spirit is Moving Powerfully

The Word of God declares: “I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; and your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions” (Joel 2:28, AMP). This is a season of awakening. God is stirring hearts with holy fire—a fire that ignites passion for His name and fuels His purpose in His people.

In this moment, the call is clear: “Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you” (Isaiah 60:1, AMP). The time to shake off spiritual complacency has arrived. Cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light (Romans 13:12). The night is passing, and the dawn of God’s kingdom draws near.

The Church Must Stand Firm

You are part of a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, called to declare His praises (1 Peter 2:9). The world needs your light, now more than ever. Jesus reminds us, “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 5:16, AMP).

Stay watchful, beloved, for Jesus promises: “I am with you always, [remaining with you perpetually—regardless of circumstance], even to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:20, AMP). He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End (Revelation 1:8). His Word will not fail; it will accomplish His perfect will (Isaiah 55:11).

Keep Your Lamps Burning

As the Bridegroom approaches, Jesus warns us to remain prepared: “Be on the alert [stay awake and watch], for you do not know which day your Lord is coming” (Matthew 24:42, AMP). Do not let the distractions of this world dim your focus. Keep your lamps burning bright with unwavering faith. Encourage one another and build each other up (1 Thessalonians 5:11), for the days are short and evil abounds.

The King of Glory is Coming

Rejoice, for the King of Glory is coming with power and majesty! Scripture declares: “Lift up your heads, O gates, and be lifted up, ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in” (Psalm 24:7, AMP). The King is faithful, and His promises endure forever.

Let your life be a testimony to His unfailing love. Stand firm in hope, grounded in His truth, and filled with His peace. As you eagerly await His return, live each day in surrender to His will, declaring boldly, “Come, Lord Jesus” (Revelation 22:20).

A Closing Prayer

Heavenly Father, prepare our hearts for Your glory. Stir within us a holy passion for Your presence. Teach us to stand firm in faith, to shine as lights in a dark world, and to remain watchful for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. May our lives reflect Your love and truth, now and forever. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Focusing on God’s promises, keeping our lamps burning, and standing firm will prepare us for the day of His glory.
